I am finally over the fact I turned 28 this past December. It is just amazing how fast
time goes by each day. This May, Nathan and I will have been married for 6yrs and Reilly
about to turn 4 years old. We are currently living in Savannah, Georgia. Well actually
we live off of the military base Hunter Army Air Field. Nathan is did really well in
helicopter school. I dont know if I have ever seen him work so hard for something that he
wanted so bad. I am so proud of his accomplishments.
The military life isn't easy and many ask the question, "How do you do it?" or say "I
could never do that." I do myself wonder how I actually do it too, but I know it is truly
what is best for our family. We learn the value of time, patience and mostly forgiveness
in our marriage. Reilly is another reason I am able to stay strong and enjoy what I do
because I know he will never ever have to worry about adult problems and that he will
always be taken care of.
I really miss home in Arkansas and my other three babies Sonny, Rebel and Sally. Every
time I go home I take hundreds of pictures. We are hoping to get to take Sally to our
next duty station. I miss all the rodeos and my rodeo buddies too! I have been pretty
excited about the fact that MySpace has been able to allow me to stay in touch with all
my cowgirls! I know that sounds cheezy, but I bet you think the same way!
If I was at home I think my life would be all horses, but since living the army life I
had to picked up a new hobby. I spent five years of my life living the college dreams and
nightmares. I am really glad that it is over. After like 145 hours of paying my dues, I
graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2004 with a
Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems (I.T. GEEK). I learned how to
write programs, analyze computer systems, and pimp out myspace! I can say that am a true
Nerdy Hog Fan!
I am working on a business plan to design web pages for organizations/business in the
near future. We will see how that goes soon. I do want to thank all of my Army buddies
that I have met along this way. So many of you
are awesome.
So hopefully I will have some new news about Nathan flying. When I do I will pass it
along. Feel free to ask me any computer questions or whatever. Some weird reason I like
computers.
